As First Assistant Director on Trapped, I oversaw daily operations on set and kept production running efficiently. I worked closely with the director and department heads to maintain communication, manage schedules, and coordinate logistics. The role strengthened my leadership, problem-solving, and organisational skills while supporting the creative team in achieving their vision. Trapped achieved significant recognition, winning Best National Student Film at the 2024 NAHEMI Awards and Best Drama at the 2025 RTS North West Student Awards.
I directed and produced On The Ropes, leading the project from concept through to final delivery. I developed the script, managed scheduling, and coordinated a talented cast and crew to create a grounded, emotionally driven short film. The experience allowed me to combine creative direction with strong logistical management, ensuring the shoot stayed on track while keeping a clear artistic vision. On The Ropes went on to earn a Bronze Telly Award in the General Student category.
I worked as Assistant Director on Breathe A Little, the official music video for Big Ryze’s original soundtrack for Trapped. I supported the shoot by managing logistics, assisting with lighting setups, and ensuring the production stayed organised and on time. The project was a chance to blend cinematic storytelling with music performance, creating a seamless visual companion to the track.
